About Danyeka Lazier

Toronto-based designer Daneyka Lazier is the Principal of DL Arch + Design. Her firm is known for creating unique spaces that capture you and your lifestyle and specializes in improving the functionality of small spaces.


Daneyka was born and raised in the Republic of Panama, located in Central America, and now lives with her husband and two sons in Toronto, Canada. Since a very early age her passion has been focused on visual arts, architecture and interior design.  The challenge of solving design and planning problems with creative approaches that have attractive aesthetic has continually pushed her to be an expert in her field.  Daneyka has a wide range of previous experience including working as a furniture designer, an interior decorator and a commercial designer for a major Canadian bank.  She also holds an advanced diploma in Architectural Technology from George Brown College and attended the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) for Interior Design.  Daneyka currently sits on the board of directors of the Toronto chapter of the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada and is a part-time professor at the Interior Design Technology program at George Brown College
